Robert Trent Jones Jr. or Bobby was born on July 24, 1939 in Palo Alto, California. He is the eldest son of golf course architect legend named Robert Trent Jones Sr. Another brother of him, Rees Jones, is also a respected golf course architect. That explains why Bobby got a great start in the business. He is recognized as a thinking man’s designer, and has been called “the father of environmental golf course designer”.

Robert Trent Jones Jr. has designed and built over 150 remarkable golf courses around the world. Along the way he has befriended presidents and prime ministers, represented the United States of America in numerous human rights organization. He is also a winner in the cause of environmentalism and public parks. As a result, his impressive portfolio of golf designs throughout the world; for example, in Asia, Australia, Europe and North America have been beautifully accumulated.
